Just doing some general research on what people uses and what my options would be if I were to switch providers.
BT; Seem to be the 'big I am' providers yet I dislike the 3rd world support I get when I call them to tell them they have a local network problem and they tell me that the issue with packet-loss is due to using Google's DNS resolvers [after edited to BT's issue still happens] or the wi-fi channel being set to something that it shouldn't when using an RJ-45.
Virgin media; Seem to be the second 'big I am' provider, I love the price, speed, UK Support[During 9-5].. But yet again a tard provider to say the reason I was having an issue with my internet is due to my Superhub being 'on'/'connected' for 40 days with-out a reboot and the issue still happened once the 'reboot' happened.
PlusNET Seem to be promising any experience?
02 have been bought out by Sky.
Sky seem a bit poor, friends that use them get <1Mbit speeds up/down and when they call up they say it's the phone line or something like that.
